Column-Greek Erechtheum w/Necking & Ionic Flutes
Premier Custom Collection Authentic Replication Columns
Its name was derived from the Erechtheum, a Temple in Athens dating to 420 B.C. This slender column is divided into twenty-four flutes and has a base for stability. A small convex molding in the form of a string of beads at the top (an astragal) divdes the shaft from the graceful plain necking. Interior or exterior use.
