Column-Roman Doric w/Doric Flutes Has twenty four shallow flutes meeting at sharp edges. The lower part of the column can be left plain or unfluted, since the Renaissance, Roman Doric columns have been used as an established variation in the classical tradition. Today at Chadsworth, each fluted shaft is individually tapered to ensure consistency. Doric fluting is a custom option in our Authentic Replication columns.
